September 2025 Teacher of the Month

St. Monica is truly fortunate to have a teacher like Ms. Aguilar. Her passion for teaching inspires a love of learning in her students. In our St. Monica community, our teachers are deeply valued for their dedication and commitment to the well-being and growth of each student, even in challenging times.
Mrs. Aguilar makes learning math fun! She engages her students with helpful techniques to learn math and always makes sure everyone is comfortable and understands the lesson before moving on. Many of her students and peers believe that she is “the best teacher at St. Monica.” Mrs. Aguilar is known for her kind demeanor and unfailing support of her students. Whether she’s making sure her students are praying in church, helping them with a math problem, or making them smile, she is consistently engaged and assisting them in one way or another. One student said Mrs. Aguilar “carves memories in your brain like no one else can,” and many others said that she was kind and cares about her students beyond the math she teaches.
