March 2024 Teacher of the Month

St. Monica is honored to have a teacher with the qualities of Ms. Shanebrook. Teachers who love teaching, teach children to love learning. In our St. Monica community, our teachers are viewed as truly loving their students, seeking their highest good even when at times the way may be hard.

As one of her nominators wrote: “Ms. Shanebrook is a fabulous teacher and gets her students to LOVE school. She is very calm and understanding. She is an all-around great teacher and person. She is very organized, which is extremely helpful to students and parents. She truly deserves this award!” Another nominator praised her saying “Ms. Shanebrook has fostered a loving classroom environment that is thriving, both educationally and socially. I have seen my daughter’s skills increase steadily over the past few months, with the last month in particular. She is tailoring my daughter’s needs to her. We so appreciate Ms. Shanebrook!”

Ms. Shanebrook is the model of exemplary teaching. Let’s congratulate her today for her commitment to excellence and her impact on our students. We are excited to celebrate the wonderful and positive contributions that she is making at our school.
